CFC
Consumer Financial Counseling (CFC) of Tidewater, a professional nonprofit, United Way agency, is dedicated to helping individuals and families resolve financial problems. It promotes the wise use of credit and sound money management through budget counseling, debt management intervention and community education. Consumer Financial Counseling does not lend money or function as a collection agency. We work with you and your creditors to help you get out of debt. Financial counselors offer you professional money management advice, a debt repayment plan and a viable alternative to personal bankruptcy.
Once enrolled in our program, many creditors elect to reduce or eliminate interest charges and late fees.
Debtors Anonymous meets every Tuesday at 6:00 pm. Please call John at 625-2227 x116 for more information or check out the CFC News page. Strictly confidential.
